02/20/1999 - Found some interesting pictures in data.tre. Click here to view them.
02/14/1999 - The DXF converter has still a problem, that I can't seem to fix. So it probably won't be released anytime soon (email me if you're interested in a beta version). The next version of WCPEdit, however, is making progress and looks pretty good.
02/07/1999 - I've been working a bit with the ship models, and thanks to HCl who gave me invaluable help, a WCP > DXF converter and a model viewer is almost ready. Take a look at these pictures: Pic1 and Pic2
02/04/1999 - Just posted my new String Editor "stredit". The next version of WCPEdit will have built-in support for stredit to edit the name of guns and missiles. And I have added a batch processing feature to wcpedit which is quite handy if you want to try out funny things, like increasing damage values for all missiles by 300 % - feels like WC4 :)
02/02/1999 - The new setup program for wcpedit is working great. The help file still needs some work however. And i'm looking for suggestions how to improve the editor, so if there is any feature you would like to have in wcpedit please email me.
01/30/1999 - Due to popular request i'm currently working on a setup program and a manual for wcpedit.
01/16/1999 - I've just uploaded WCPEdit 1.7. It adds a lot of small improvements, including the Massdriver and Particle Gun for SecretOps. This should also be the most error tolerant version of WCPEdit ever.
11/06/1998 - misb 1.1 is ready. It adds SecretOps support and some other new features.
11/03/1998 - A new SO mission is ready: Kilrathi Revenge. It uses some old ships from WC4.
10/26/1998 - I'm still writing on the next version of misb. In the meantime my first SecretOps mission is up.
10/24/1998 - There have been some people who had problems with setting up misb. The problem is that when it asks for the prophecy path you have to enter the path with a final \, otherwise misb won't accept the path. I forgot to mention this in the readme.
10/22/1998 - My new program, Mission Builder, is ready. It allows you to make missions without having to write a single line of code. HCl's compiler is needed for this program so if you don't already have it get it from: HCl's page
10/17/1998 - Bugfix: Fixed a bug that crashed the game when using certain combinations of hardpoints. Updated Exe
10/15/1998 - WCPEdit 1.6 is up. It adds support for HCl's ship converter. WCPEdit 1.6 is included in the converter and if you already have it there's no need to download it again from here.
09/17/1998 - Well, a major bug occured :( When editing a ship without a turret wcpedit gives a "Range Check Error" I guess it's really time to stop writing on wcpedit (before it formats some harddrives...) You can get the bugfix here (153 kb). Sorry for all the problems with the last versions. This time it should work.
09/14/1998 - WCPEdit 1.53 finished. I think this time everything should be alright ;) This is propably the last version (unless there occurs some major bug or something). If you want to know (but maybe not) WCPEdit consists of 2546 lines of code (Pascal). And while it's not the longest program i've ever written, it's definitly the program with the most versions (13). So, i want to thank anyone who sent in suggestions, bugs or shared their insights with me.
09/13/1998 - WCPEdit 1.52a fixes all the problems with different languages. If you already have a working 1.52 there is no need to download this.
09/11/1998 - Big Problem: Accidentially I included the german soinfo.dat into WCPEdit 1.52, which causes a lot of problems with english SecretOps. If you did install 1.52 you can use wcpedit /u and get this file to fix this problem.
09/08/1998 - WCPEdit 1.52 is available for download. It adds a couple of missile editing options and an uninstall switch (/u).
09/04/1998 - Bugfix for german SecretOps.

07/29/1998 - Cloaking in Prophecy? The following dialog was taken from the first mission. The code to play it was commented out.:
Stilletto: Where the hell did they come from. Lets wait and see if they're friendly... Activate you cloak dickhead
Maestro: I am using my cloaking device....
Stilletto: Hey! What?!! They can see through our cloak somehow
Maestro: Umm.. they're shooting at me.. waaahhh..
07/23/1998 - It did take longer than expected but WCPEdit 1.41 is ready for download. The Ship-Switcher is not exactly an example of good programming and usability but it works.
05/17/1998 - WCPEdit 1.4 (with ship switcher) will be ready soon.
05/10/1998 - My second mission is up.
05/08/1998 - One very nasty bug slipped into 1.3. When editing ships other then the Piranha or Panther the game exited with a "Invalid Bullet Type" message. This bug is fixed now. Please download WCPEdit 1.31 using the link below or get only the updatet exe file.
05/06/1998 - WCPEdit 1.3 ready for download. I'll begin to make some more missions now.
